Toronto, December 13, 2018 – Canadalend.com, one of Canada’s most trusted mortgage brokerages specializing in commercial mortgages, home equity lines of credit, private and second mortgages and lending solutions for those who have been turned down by the big banks, is proud to announce that it will donate 1,000 brand new winter coats to the head office of Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada in Toronto as part of its annual “Stay Warm” initiative.
Launched in 2015, the goal of the Stay Warm initiative is to help underprivileged children cope with the harsh winter weather in Canada. As part of this initiative, Canadalend.com donated 100 coats in 2015, 200 coats in 2016, and 300 coats in 2017. This year’s donation will bring the total number of coats provided by Canadalend.com to 1,600. Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada is a national non-profit organization that provides safe, supportive places where children can form positive relationships and develop self-confidence and life skills.
“At Canadalend.com, we believe that it’s important to give back to the community and help those who are less fortunate than us,” says Bob Aggarwal, president of Canadalend.com. “Something as simple as a winter jacket—which many of us take for granted—can have a huge impact on the lives of those less fortunate. We are extremely proud of the Stay Warm initiative and look forward to donating even more coats next year.”
